Membership Committee

Mission: Provide support and leadership to LTC staff assuring the successful development of membership recruitment and retention efforts as well as specific and targeted membership development campaigns to increase size and demographic.

Focus Areas

Retention:

• Develop and maintain a formal orientation program for new members
• Create and implement ongoing strategies to facilitate retention of existing members identify initiatives that increase involvement of the current membership with their participation in events and programs as well as overall interaction with the council
• Conduct an annual survey to access members’ preferences with respect to events, forums, and activities

Recruitment:

• Develop specific and targeted membership development campaigns
• Create and implement a formal process to handle referrals
• Partner with other organizations to support the LTC’s mission
• Work with other committees and chairs to plan and conduct functions to promote membership Identify needed modifications and recommend changes to membership dues

Education:

•  Identify and communicate regional and national programs and events that benefit LTC members Introduce prospective members to the LTC’s mission, services and benefits
