Thank you for your continued support of the University of New Orleans and our students. We would like to invite you to a special event that is now in its sixth year and growing. The event is FreshFest and the purpose is to allow you an opportunity to meet with students at the University of New Orleans who may be seeking a part-time job.

The Part-Time/On Campus Job Fair is part of FreshFest and will be held this year on August 27, 2008 in the Library Quad on the campus of UNO.

This is a casual, no pressure event that brings together organizations seeking to hire college students as well as campus organizations seeking student workers. We hold FreshFest each year as an official welcoming event for our new students and as a way for them to connect with the New Orleans community.

Fresh Fest is traditionally held on the first Wednesday of the first week of school in the fall and yes, it is an outdoor event.

You can expect it to be hot and steamy outside, so we strongly, strongly recommend that you wear a company polo or t-shirt and shorts or khakis…this is not a career fair to dress-up to attend. 

 Our students will be wearing what they normally wear to school everyday and they will probably have on shorts, flip-flops and t-shirts as well.

We will be under 3 huge “circus” tents and there will be plenty of fans around to help you keep cool. We will also have plenty of cold refreshments and traditional outdoor type food for you to eat.

Intended for companies wishing to hire students to fill part-time positions or positions on the UNO campus.
