Special Interest Groups
Capital Access
The Capital Access Special Interest Group provides a forum for information exchange and education to technology and other growth companies in need of funding, networking and information to support the growth of their enterprise. Members and presenters of information will share their knowledge of traditional, seed and venture capital funding and discuss best practices for building and managing their capital funding plans. The network building and information providing events will provide entrepreneurs and growth companies with the opportunity to contact experienced investors and like-minded entrepreneurs in their region.
CIO Roundtable
The mission of the CIO Roundtable is to provide Information Technology directors and officers (CTO, CIO, MIS etc.) a peer-to-peer networking forum to discuss, share and inform on the best technology practices in today’s environment. In addition, the CIO Roundtable will educate and address current and future technology applications that could have an impact on an organization, and how advancing technologies can bring value to their organization.
Homeland Security
The Homeland Security Special Interest Group will provide a forum to allow opportunities for the free exchange of HLS-related information and for convenient networking among members.
InterModal Transportation
The Intermodal Transportation SIG pursues business opportunities, foster cooperation and encourage synergies between LTC’s technology companies and the state and region’s port, maritime and transportation industrial sectors.
Networking
Provides business networking training along with networking events to develop and refine the interpersonal skills necessary to help members grow their businesses and advance their careers.
Oil & Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical Industry
Provide a forum regarding the evolving Oil and Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical industries in Louisiana and the role played by technology.
Students for Technology
The mission of the ST SIG is to support student chapters of the Louisiana Technology Council on local campuses, offer networking opportunities for students with leaders in local technology companies, and to provide opportunities for students to develop the appropriate skill sets necessary in the competitive technology field.
Women in Technology
The LTC Women in Technology Society was created to provide the local women in technology a forum for networking and advancement in their respective careers. The Society will host events and programs relevant to women in the technology related workplace.
